Bah-humbug.

I do not like parades.

I do not like whiny bratty children that yell at you for not throwing them enough candy.

I do not like parents that insult your heritage because you did not throw their children enough candy.

I do not like getting up early on a holiday to be one of three people washing and waxing trucks.

I do not like giving up my time with the Lieutenant to smile and wave at strangers.

I do not like wearing uniform polyester in heat.

I do not like that I do not like parades.

The first person that scolds me for not throwing them candy is going to get a sucker stick to the cornea.

Go ahead... make my day... punk.

Edit: I am on standby at the station in the second unit. Bernice is a happy girl.

Providence just had their "Gay Pride Parade." (not thet there'e amything wrong with that!) One year our mayor forced one of our firetrucks to participate. What do you get when you put a firetruck and four firefighters on display for thousands of intoxicated homosexuals? Bah Humbug indeed!!!!

PS Anybody who is funny when they are tired and sings even a little is welcome to be my partner anytime!

Oh man! Now THAT sounds like a good time! Ha ha!

I'll talk to the Lieutenant. I'm getting tired of the Midwest anyway.

I second your bah humbug!

I will be on standby at a fireworks show tomorrow. Last year we had 4 calls for young boys (different calls) wearing "red shirts, blue pants" It's the 4th of flippin July, that's what everyone is wearing!

PS all kids were returned to their parents unharmed

Ha! That sure did help didn't it? I have never stood by at a fireworks show, but last year I did have a burning shell casing land on my arm. That kinda hurt a bit.

Hopefully we can all have a, uh, great weekend.
