Also, I am having a very hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. I love Christmas and yet just like every other holiday this year, I just can't get myself to care. The tree is up, but it is one sad looking Christmas tree. Not very festive at all and yet I don't really care enough to do something about it. Blah.
Or better yet. Bah humbug.

I'm glad its not just me having a hard time with the Christmas thing.... I mean, I actually had a conversation with myself that went something like "well, do we really need to spend $50 to get a christmas tree? i mean, we'll only be looking at it for like 20 days. thats like, $2.50 a day for a tree"
And yeah, I've been there too with the big mouth, small world thing. In my town, the CVS is usally the place I get myself into trouble. The last time I left there, I could barely walk from embarrasment. Bad mouthing your husband's fire department in line is a bad idea if the Lt. it standing behind you and you have no idea. :)
Lay under your tree and look up. It's a beautiful site.
And you have lots to be thankful and festive for.
